Domain Registration & Ownership.
When dealing with domain registrations, two things are vitally important:
1. That the domain be registered in your name - not the name of your webdesign company.

Web sites must be held (or 'hosted') on one of a limited number of registered web servers. Processing of requests for files (bandwidth) is chargeable and can become expensive. Many hosts offer 'free hosting' for websites but conditions include allowing the host to advertise on your sites and - in some cases - hosts can divert traffic from your websites to their own! Web space is often given away by ISP's but can mean that your domain name is 'diverted' to theirs and traffic is 'forwarded' to your domain; this means that your domain name is invisible and you are - in effect - giving free publicity to your ISP.
Click-IT websites are hosted for free* on one of a number of available servers - including dedicated servers (dedicated to our sole use).
(*subject to bandwidth limitations - if you exceed them you're not going to mind paying the excess because you're going to be inundated with traffic)
